New exhibitions in Floresta do Saber

Floresta do Saber has two new exhibitions at its center, in Quinta de São Francisco, in Aveiro. One of the exhibitions, entitled "Woods of Portugal," is dedicated to the variety of forest species present in our country and brings together 78 samples from the collection of the Albino de Carvalho Xylotheque.

Floresta do Saber was present at EcoAventura 2023.

Floresta do Saber was present at Eco Adventure 2023, with various activities and received around 1200 visitors throughout the event. Most of the visitors came from schools in Aveiro and neighboring municipalities. In addition to schools, many families with children also came to try out our activities.

The INOVC+ Consortium, of which RAIZ is a part, carried out a mission to the Israeli Innovation Ecosystem.

The trip, promoted by the INOVC+ Project, with the aim of learning about best practices in the Israeli innovation ecosystem, took place from March 13th to 16th. RAIZ was represented by General Director Carlos Pascoal Neto and Science and Technology Manager Sara Monteiro.

RAIZ leads the largest national R&D program in forest-based bioeconomy.

Promoting a new generation of bioproducts, creating innovative and distinctive products, as well as developing potential new businesses are some of the main contributions of the inpactus project. This is the result of the largest investment in Portugal in an R&D project in the field of forest-based bioeconomy, towards decarbonization and a more sustainable, circular and competitive economy.
