The following entities within the Navigator Group are jointly responsible for the processing of personal data:
RAIZ - Forest and Paper Research Institute, Quinta de São Francisco, Eixo, Aveiro;
The Navigator Company, SA, Mitrena Peninsula, Sado parish, Setúbal district and municipality.
These entities jointly determined the purposes and means of processing the user's personal data and signed an agreement regulating the functions and responsibilities required to comply with applicable data protection legislation.

2. Purposes of the Processing and Legal Basis

For requests for institutional and school visits: name of the responsible person, telephone number, email address, name of the institution, location, academic year, subject area, objectives of the visit, and how they learned about RAIZ. Additionally, and with the user's consent, RAIZ will process contact data and data relating to preferences, behavioral history, and location data for the following purposes:
Information and marketing activities, as well as advertising campaigns and contests;
Conducting market research and strategic development or evaluation surveys;
Activation of communication services, such as newsletters or alerts;
Definition and communication of personalized and/or geo-segmented offers within the scope of campaigns and/or promotions. In general, the personal data collected is based on the execution and management of a contract, the performance of due diligence prior to its conclusion, the provision of a service requested by the data subject, the consent of the data subject, the adaptation of services to the needs of data subjects, namely for information, advertising and news actions about RAIZ. The processing for the aforementioned purposes will be necessary for the provision of RAIZ services. RAIZ will process user data entirely within the territory of the European Economic Area, and therefore does not foresee any international transfer of data.
