Floresta do Saber will be located in the new Municipal Eco-center of Aveiro.

RAIZ, through its Floresta do Saber project, will be present at the new Aveiro Municipal Ecocenter next Saturday, July 30th. This visit is part of the "Conversations at the Ecocenter" series and will be dedicated to the theme of Forests and Biodiversity, with João Ezequiel, Curator of Quinta de São Francisco and scientific coordinator of Floresta do Saber project. At this event, we will see that forests, by harboring most of the biodiversity on the planet, are absolutely fundamental to human survival on Earth. Several practical examples will also be used to demonstrate that planted forests and biodiversity conservation are part of the same equation when it comes to the economic and environmental value of our forests. The Municipal Ecocenter is an infrastructure of the Aveiro Municipal Council (CMA) managed by Veolia Portugal SA, a company specializing in waste management.
